- Outer Shell: PB e-cLc (Complex Laminate Construction)
The Quantic outer shell design outlines a stylish, organic shape and uses PB e-cLc (Peripherally Belted e-Complex Laminate Construction) for lightweight strength and, for the first time, built-in side ducts.

Ventilation
- Aerodynamics: One-piece rear exhaust with spoiler function
The one-piece rear exhaust/spoiler, operated by a 3-way switch, is inspired by the Arai RX-7V Racing, but redesigned for touring use – however, it was tested up to 300km/h at Suzuka. It smooths airflow over of the helmet, improving stability and reducing buffeting, especially while overtaking at highway speeds. The result is much less rider fatigue.
- Premium Brushed Nylon Liner
The Quantic’s interior was designed from scratch for maximum comfort, airflow and light weight. The interior and cheek pads are easily removed for cleaning or adjustment.
- Replaceable Interior
All parts can be cleaned with lukewarm water and mild soap. Rinse well after cleaning and never dry in direct sunlight or near a heat source. Interior parts in different size thickness are available for a custom fit for every rider.
- Speaker pockets
The speaker pockets, offering room for mounting speakers without effecting comfort or fit (Speaker not included).
- 5mm ’’Peel Away’’ Temple pad
Arai´s peel-away temple crown pads give the option of 5 mm more interior width if needed.
- Facial Contour System FCS®
To offer an even better snug fit and enhancing the comfort to the lower jaw, the Facial Contour System FCS® works with a foam spring support in the cheek pad that compresses and rebounds, providing the necessary support without excessive pressure.
- Emergency Release System (ERS)
Allows easier access to an injured rider. By pulling the orange tabs integrated in the pads, the cheek pads slide out. Making helmet removal easier for trained medical personnel and rescuers. Minimising the risk of additional injury.
- 5mm Wider Base & Chin Curtain (Fixed)
The exclusive shell flares 5mm around the base, making it easier to get the helmet On and Off. The Fixed Chin Curtain simultaneously blocks air intrusion from turbulent air below and reduces noise even further.
- Intercom Accomodation & Shield Latch System
Designed to fit and connect a communication system easily on the shell exterior – and without any compromise to the protection offered by the inner EPS liner. Shield latch system: borrowed from our F1 helmet, it secures the shield like never before but operates smoothly and intuitively.

Handmade: It can take up to five years for our experts to earn the right to create an Arai shell. Each shell can take up to 27 steps and to build one Arai helmet will take about 18 man-hours.

Glancing Off: To minimize impact energy getting into the helmet, it’s crucial that a helmet can slide over a surface. Arai believes that a Strong, Round & Smooth shell helps to increase a helmets ability to protect the rider during an impact.

Smooth shape, better protection (R75 Concept): The smooth outer shell of Arai helmets is designed to glide without unnecessary resistance. You don’t want to decelerate your helmet more than necessary. That’s why all Arai vents and ducts are designed to break off during an impact.

Five times inspected: Each Arai helmet goes through five separate quality-control departments: after the shell is made, after painting and graphic completion, after assembly and two in-process inspections.

Arai In-house test & Penetration tested: All Arai helmets are penetration tested, although not required by European helmet standards. Designed to meet the stringent Arai In-house criteria, in addition to the mandatory ECE 22-06 standard.

Double-D ring device: The flat and D-shaped rings fit smooth against the chin. No moving parts, no corrosion problems and just pulling the tab is enough to loosen the fastener.

5-year limited warranty: All Arai helmets are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship, and are serviceable only for the properly fitted first user for 5 years from date of first use, but no more than 7 years from date of manufacture.
